Tony, a bilingual physiotherapist fluent in English and Spanish, combines his sports background with a passion for holistic, personalized care. With expertise in strength-based rehab and injury prevention, he supports clients of all ages in achieving their health goals. Outside the clinic, he enjoys beach volleyball, exploring BC, and global travel with his wife.
Mahan Shahrooie
Physiotherapist
Mahan holds a Bachelor’s degree in Physiotherapy from Shiraz University and a Master’s in Sports Physiotherapy from Iran University of Medical Sciences. Her journey into holistic care took her to India, where she trained intensively in yoga and yoga therapy, inspiring her to integrate mental practices with physical rehabilitation. Currently pursuing a PhD at the University of Manitoba, Mahan’s research focuses on the mental aspects of physical pain, seeking innovative ways to bridge the mind-body connection in healing. Her passion and expertise offer a unique approach to physiotherapy, empowering patients on their journey to recovery.

Our instructors at Inspine are here to help you improve your overall fitness and well-being through the Pilates method! Our highly skilled instructors will work with you on a one-on-one basis, or in group classes, to teach the principles of core strength, flexibility, and control of movement. They will use a variety of Pilates equipment to help you perform exercises that target the deep abdominal and back muscles, as well as the whole body.

Youjin is a fully certified STOTT Pilates instructor as of May 2024, with plans to become an Instructor Trainer (IT) for STOTT Pilates. With over ten years of experience in competitive golf, Youjin has competed in junior tournaments globally, representing the Australian/Korean Golf Team “ANK GOLF.”

Registered Clinical Counselling
At Inspine, we are proud to have a team of Registered Clinical Counsellors (RCCs) dedicated to providing personalized counselling and therapy services . Our RCCs work with clients to identify their strengths, set goals, develop action plans, and work towards positive change. Through exploring thoughts and feelings, our RCCs help clients gain insights into the underlying causes of their challenges and teach them new ways of thinking and behaving.

With a core emphasis on relationship-building and a strong therapeutic alliance, Jean aims to create a safe and relaxed environment where patients can naturally open up about their inner thoughts and feelings. Jean’s clinical approach to therapy is person-centered and strengths-based, drawing from various modalities that will best suit the patient.
